Make your way through the room, and as you pass the first set of statues, two panthers will attack from the other end, so take them out and move down to where they came from. Head back down to the surface using the slide to the right of the sphinx head, then go through the door and corridors to another room. At the bottom of the slide, turn around to find a Large Medipack, then pull the switch on the back of the Sphinx head. Run to the end, and to the right is a slide to jump to. Jump and grab the first one, then to the second one to another platform on the other side. From the pillar, jump to the platform, then look to the wall to see two more rings you can wall run from. From the head of the sphinx, look left to see a ring above you, jump and grapple to it, then swing to the pillar in front of you. Climb into it and walk through to get ARTIFACT #1/3. Go into the alcove above the sphinx, and on the right is a gap in the wall. Climb up the ladder, then jump left to land on top of the sphinx. On the other side, grab the ammo, then jump to the first, then second pillar then to the ladder on the right hand wall. Jump to it and swing over the gap, but be careful as it's on a timer. Jump to the next platform, then shoot the button on the wall to make a pole pop out. Jump up to the next ledge, then shimmy right, then up two more ledges to the top platform. Shimmy left and up to another ledge, then left again to jump behind to the second pillar. Jump onto it, then left to the first pillar. Next to the left side of the sphinx is a small circular piece of debris. After defeating both of them, head to the sphinx on the opposite side from where you entered, and to the left are a couple of broken pillars. Take them out in the standard way, but be aware that they can shoot fireballs from distance. Climb up the ledge at the back of the room and walk forward to the edge to trigger a cutscene. If you're lucky, you may be able to take it out before sliding down if you can get the angles right. Slide down the ramp and immediately to your right is a panther, so take it out. You'll notice the music picked up, so that only means one thing. Walk forward to another gap in the wall, then checkpoint and SAVE. ![]() Walk forward and slide down the right side of the pit and jump to the pole, then to another scarab ledge and again up to the floor above. The ledge on the scarab acts like a switch, so the jump between the two has to be quite quick. ![]() Walk towards the scarab in the wall ahead, and jump onto it, then up to the floor above.
